Cowan, TN – The picturesque town of Cowan is set to transform into a whimsical wonderland this May, as residents and visitors alike prepare for a month-long celebration of Rabbit Hole Journeys. The festivities will commence with a Hat Parade on the 2nd of May, inviting attendees to showcase their creativity while honoring the rich history of the Cowan Railroad Museum.
Highlighting the month’s calendar of events is the highly-anticipated Mother’s Day High Tea, to be catered by renowned wild crafting chef Cara Kitzrow. Set in the enchanting Firefly Gala Room at 108 Cumberland Street East, Cowan TN 37318, within the Nostalgic Franklin House Boutique Hotel, the high tea promises an afternoon of elegance and indulgence.
Scheduled for May 12th at 2 pm, the event offers guests the opportunity to partake in delectable treats for a cost of $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under. Attendees are encouraged to don their most exquisite hats, with a $25 prize awaiting the creator of the best hat. As guests sip tea and admire the works of acclaimed artist Rachel Thompson, they will also be treated to a captivating fashion show presented by Valley Vintage, featuring styles from Sole Shop, Prissy and Judd’s, and Artisan Depot.
