This month, <strong>Shannon Beebe<\/strong> visited <strong>Skip\u2019s Grill<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TONIGHT, I stopped at Skip\u2019s Grill, just a little south of the Winchester square, and let me tell you \u2014 this cozy spot is still serving up delicious comfort food after more than 50 years in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While Skip\u2019s is best known for its breakfast, I decided to swing by for dinner \u2014 and I\u2019m so glad I did. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and French fries \u2014 and wow! The chicken was perfectly grilled \u2014 juicy and full of flavor. The lettuce was crisp, the tomato was thick and fresh (like, super fresh), and the sandwich was stacked just right. The fries? It was one of those nights when the energy made the food taste even better. The waitresses were hustling with a smile, keeping up with the dinner rush like pros \u2014 friendly, fast, and full of personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But Skip\u2019s isn\u2019t just about the food. There\u2019s a warmth in this little diner that you can\u2019t fake. The staff is welcoming, and you can tell the owners genuinely care about the place and the people who walk through the door.
