THE CALL comes in, and the world doesn\u2019t slow down. The clock feels like it ticks faster, but our heroes stay strong. The firefighter is halfway through dinner. The nurse just pulled into the driveway. The officer tucks her child into bed and hears the radio crackle. Without hesitation, they turn around. Because that is what heroes do. They show up every single time. Not for the glory. Not for the attention. But because they refuse to sit still when someone else is hurting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That is what makes heroes different. It is not the uniform or the badge or the title. It is that they keep showing up, even when they are tired, even when it is hard, even when no one is watching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This issue is a \u201cthank you\u201d from our community to our heroes.
