\u201cThis community shaped who I am,\u201d Taylor said. \u201cIt taught me what it means to show up for people, and that\u2019s something I carry into my work.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taylor began her education at Motlow State Community College before continuing at John A. Gupton College in Nashville, where she studied mortuary science. During her time in Nashville, she worked at Woodlawn Roesch Patton Funeral Home, gaining experience in daily operations and completing her apprenticeship in the care center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThose years taught me responsibility and the level of trust families place in us,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n After completing her training, Taylor returned to Winchester, where she now serves the same community she grew up in. Her familiarity with the area allows her to approach each family with an understanding of local connections, traditions, and expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cWhen families walk through our doors, I want them to feel like they can take things one step at a time,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Watson Funeral Home continues to serve families across Franklin County as a reliable local resource.
