This month, <strong>Shannon Beebe<\/strong> visited <\/em><strong><em>Lupita\u2019s Tacos<\/em><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You know I can&#8217;t resist tacos, so I stopped by Lupita&#8217;s Tacos on the downtown Winchester square, and let me just say \u2014 I left happy and full!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I ordered the Fried Taco Plate, and WOW! It comes with four shredded chicken tacos that are rolled up and fried until they&#8217;re perfectly golden and crispy. They were topped with fresh lettuce, avocado, tomatoes, and shredded cheese, then served with a bright, flavorful salsa verde that added just the right amount of zing. Every bite had that perfect combination of crispy, fresh, and delicious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/2-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25654\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/2-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/2-2-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/2-2-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The plate also came with black refried beans and Mexican rice, and both were excellent. The beans were creamy and full of flavor, while the rice was light, fluffy, and seasoned just right. No bland sides here!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Because one taco is never enough for this foodie, I also ordered an al carb\u00f3n street taco. The grilled meat had an incredible smoky flavor, was tender, juicy, and didn&#8217;t need a bunch of toppings to stand out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/4-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25656\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/4-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/4-2-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/franklin-county\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/5\/2026\/08\/4-2-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then came the quesabirria \u2014 and friends, this one is worth the trip all by itself! Crispy, cheesy, packed with tender birria, and served with a rich consomm\u00e9 for dipping. If you&#8217;ve never dipped a quesabirria into that flavorful broth, you&#8217;re missing out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One thing I really appreciate about Lupita&#8217;s is that everything tasted fresh and was made to order.
