\u201cI always joked with my mom and told her I wanted to do what she does for work because she didn\u2019t have scheduled hours,\u201d he said with a laugh. \u201cI have quickly realized that you don\u2019t have scheduled hours because you are constantly on the clock in this profession. You can be working any day, at any time, late or early.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That realization has given him a greater appreciation for the dedication behind the business. Real estate often extends well beyond traditional office hours, requiring flexibility, quick communication, and a willingness to meet clients whenever they need assistance. While many people only see the final sale, Lynch has discovered that much of the work happens behind the scenes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the greatest advantages of beginning his career in the family business has been the opportunity to learn directly from his mother. Beyond teaching contracts and negotiations, she has demonstrated the importance of treating every client with care and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cWorking with my mom has been great,\u201d Lynch said. \u201cShe is such a good role model. It always amazes me how many returning customers she has that talk so highly about previous experiences with her.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Lynch gains experience, he continues to uncover that no two transactions are alike. Every property, every client, and every situation presents a new opportunity to learn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cSomething that has surprised me is that every deal is different,\u201d he said. \u201cYou continue to learn and see new things with every deal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n That constant variety is one of the aspects of the profession he enjoys most. Instead of approaching each day with a predictable routine, Lynch appreciates the challenge of solving new problems and helping clients navigate one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n When asked what qualities are most important for someone entering the profession, his answer was straightforward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cStaying on top of things and communicating with all involved parties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While the response may sound simple, those two qualities often determine whether a transaction moves smoothly from contract to closing. In an industry where multiple parties, deadlines, inspections, and financing all intersect, communication becomes one of the most valuable tools an agent can possess.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, joining a family business also comes with expectations. Following both his mother and grandmother into real estate means stepping into a legacy that has already earned the community\u2019s confidence. Rather than feeling intimidated, Lynch sees it as motivation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI have a lot to live up to following behind my grandmother and mom,\u201d he said. \u201cBut I just want to serve my community and be someone they can trust, and build a name for myself that people will feel confident calling when it\u2019s time for any real estate needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Although he is proud of the reputation that has been established before him, Lynch hopes to contribute his own chapter to the family\u2019s story by building relationships that reflect the same commitment to honesty, service, and professionalism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As he begins his career, Lynch is focused less on living up to the family name and more on honoring it. By serving his community with integrity and continuing to learn from those who came before him, he hopes to build relationships that will last for years to come.
