\u201cI went to school for interior design, so I\u2019ve always been interested in those kinds of things \u2014 putting things together \u2014 it\u2019s always been with me.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The boutique feels like a natural extension of that instinct, where she designs not just rooms, but experiences. Before the storefront, she spent years managing vendor events, online launches, and countless setups and breakdowns. This was a grueling period for Pulley, but it transformed the boutique into a reflection of her taste and her personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lebanon itself is a particularly distinctive part of the boutique\u2019s story. After losing their home in a tornado in Mount Juliet, Pulley and her family rented a house in Lebanon and found a sense of belonging they hadn\u2019t expected. The friendliness and warmth of the town mirrored the atmosphere she wanted in her shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and we just really felt like it was the right fit,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That warmth spills into Posh Finds Boutique. The space is vintage-inspired, contemporary, yet casual, layered with intention to feel approachable rather than staged. She wants visitors to linger, to stumble upon little treasures, and to feel inspired rather than rushed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n She hopes it becomes a place where, if you\u2019re having a bad day, you can \u201ccome in, and enjoy the feeling that we\u2019ve created in there, and just kind of get your mind off things.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Among the apparel and accessories is a carefully selected collection of titles, an addition that surprises many first-time visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cThat\u2019s just a part of me,\u201d Pulley said. \u201cI love reading. I always loved reading.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In recent years, she\u2019s noticed what she described as an \u201cexplosion\u201d of new voices on the writing scene, so she made room for them. Like her clothing racks, the shelves are intentional, with a little something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Running a boutique can be demanding. Long hours, inventory challenges, social media management, and personal sacrifices are constant realities for Pulley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cYou\u2019re sacrificing your personal time outside of that as well,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As if building a boutique wasn\u2019t enough, life delivered more unexpected turns. Right after opening, her husband lost his job. Then, this year, her mother passed away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt was a long journey, and we were really close.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the middle of grief, her husband stood behind the counter so she could step away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf my husband hadn\u2019t lost his job, then he wouldn\u2019t have been there for me to help support me at the store, running the store when I wasn\u2019t there, giving me time with my mom.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n She reflected on the timing and how, even in sorrow, there is gratitude.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIt was all meant to be how it\u2019s been. It\u2019s all falling into place, of how it\u2019s supposed to be.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n For Pulley, shopping locally is about investing in the community. Every purchase supports Wilson County, yes, but it also nurtures relationships. Over time, she learns her customers\u2019 tastes, preferences, and stories, creating a connection that simply can\u2019t be replicated in a big-box store.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Each trip to Posh Finds Boutique feels warm and inviting, just like the care she puts into her merchandise and the people she serves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It\u2019s a bright spot in a day, a reminder that local commerce can carry warmth, relationships, and care alongside fashion.
