This month, <strong>Krys Midgett<\/strong> visited <\/em><strong><em>Majo.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">IF YOUR family is like mine, deciding where to eat can feel like a group project nobody signed up for. One wants Italian, someone else is craving Mexican, another throws in Thai, and there is always that one person suggesting Wendy\u2019s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tucked into the old Gondola spot is Majo, a newer restaurant that solves at least part of that problem by bringing Italian and Mexican together under one roof. My friend and I stopped in for lunch to see how it all came together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The decor is well done with a good mix of both cultures, and from the moment we walked in, everything felt welcoming. The hostess was friendly, and I even had a chance to meet the manager, which always says something about a place. Everyone we encountered was genuinely kind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/06\/4-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23716\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/06\/4-1-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/06\/4-1-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/06\/4-1-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our server, Sinai, easily stood out. My phone died, which happens more than I would like to admit, and she jumped right in with a charger block and even moved us to a table near an outlet. That was very much appreciated. She was also great about keeping our drinks refilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I ordered the lasagna with meatballs, my usual test at any Italian spot, and it delivered. Made with ground beef, the noodles had the right consistency and were warm, cheesy, and exactly what I wanted. My friend went with the steak bandido, strips of well-seasoned steak over rice covered in melted cheese. Simple, bold, and delicious. She was very pleased.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the end of the day, Majo makes the whole \u201cwhere are we eating\u201d debate a lot easier. Good food, great service, and a welcoming vibe go a long way. Give Majo a try.
