This month, <strong>Krys Midgett<\/strong> visited <\/em><strong><em>The Mac Shack and Dirty Dough.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Welcome to the newest episode of Tastes From The Trailer Park. Just down Highway 109 \u2014 right past the building site for the new Walmart \u2014 is a unique dining experience called The Trailer Park, perfect for an indecisive family, a date night, or even a business lunch.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The venue is lined with a variety of food trucks. They have picnic tables outside, a play area for kids, and indoor seating with a full bar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/3-3-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23987\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/3-3-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/3-3-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/3-3-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On my latest visit, I set my sights on two trucks: The Mac Shack for lunch, and Dirty Dough for dessert.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I am a pasta snob, so I was skeptical about macaroni and cheese from a food truck. My daughter-in-law had her heart set on it, so I asked the man at the counter for a taste of the noodles, just to be sure. He explained that everything is made to order and cooked al dente. I was impressed, so I ordered the macaroni and cheese loaded with steak, and my daughter-in-law ordered a classic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/2-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-23986\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/2-2-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/2-2-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/lebanon\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/13\/2026\/09\/2-2-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The portions were big enough for two people. Once I took a bite of my dish, loaded with steak and gooey cheese, I knew I had made a great choice \u2014 and hers was just as good, with the same rich consistency. I paired it with a peach tea from Southern Sips.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We followed our meal with a four-pack of cookies from Dirty Dough: fresh-baked, oversized cookies stuffed with gooey fillings. We ordered two Reese\u2019s peanut butter, a chocolate chip, and a cookies-and-cream. They were the perfect size for sharing.
