Natalie emphasized that there is always something to be thankful for, even in the games the team loses. Celebrations come with a win-or-lose attitude \u2014 always being grateful that she\u2019s getting to play the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Through sports, Aubrey has gained confidence and built new friendships. Like her mother\u2019s, these experiences significantly contributed to her overall development, providing her a strong support network and a sense of belonging. The friendship and teamwork she experiences on the field translate into life skills that will benefit Aubrey in many areas of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Aubrey said, \u201cI love the teamwork, the new friendships, and working hard on the field.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Being a parent to a young athlete has also been a profound learning experience for Natalie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI have realized my kids teach me more than I could ever learn anywhere else. Win or lose, I will love them no matter how they perform, and in turn, they love me right back.
