As a lifelong resident of the community and a second-generation law enforcement professional, Elliott has spent over six years in executive leadership, directly overseeing operations and a staff of more than 130 employees across patrol, corrections, and administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Elliott\u2019s career is defined by a \u201cready on day one\u201d approach, having worked in nearly every division of the department, including SWAT and investigations. During his tenure as chief deputy, he successfully led the department through Tennessee Tier 1 Accreditation, an achievement marking a high standard of operational excellence.
