IF YOU\u2019VE never heard of or eaten at Bocelli\u2019s, you must be new to town. Nestled in our beautiful historic square is a restaurant guaranteed to satisfy your Italian cravings. With an updated interior and menu, I\u2019m glad to say Bocelli\u2019s is better than ever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a world that\u2019s always changing, I can no longer say Bocelli\u2019s is a constant. They recently underwent a much needed facelift to bring them back into the forefront of Shelbyville\u2019s culinary scene. With new paint, photos, and atmosphere, the interior of the restaurant is more modern than ever before.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Not only has the inside gone through a change, but their menu has improved drastically. I\u2019ll be honest, I wasn\u2019t the biggest fan before their update, but I\u2019ve definitely changed my stance with this new turnaround. I\u2019m not Italian at all, but I love Italian food so much that I consider myself mentally Italian. I strive so hard to learn new recipes and techniques from Italy that it\u2019s almost become my culinary focus. I can tell you that Bocelli\u2019s has perfected their pasta dishes, salads, pizzas, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I ordered the chicken Alfredo with garlic cheese bread. You cannot go wrong with this ultimate combo. Both arrived at my table piping hot and supremely fresh. The Alfredo sauce was so creamy with a hint of fresh garlic underneath. The chicken was scattered throughout to give the best bite, every bite. On top of this fresh baked masterpiece was a crispy, cheesy, melty delight of mozzarella and Parmesan. The garlic cheese bread was sliced like a pizza, making it familiar and very easy to handle. With marinara sauce for dipping, you can taste the fresh aromatic herbs against the sweetness of the tomato sauce. Also, their ranch dressing is to die for. My guilty pleasure is dipping the garlic bread in the ranch for a symphony of flavor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like I said, if you\u2019ve never heard of Bocelli\u2019s, you may be new to town. If you are, or if you haven\u2019t eaten there since the change, plan to go as soon as possible. Great food like this should never be put on the back burner. Plan a date night, grab some for lunch, or cater an event. You cannot go wrong with Bocelli\u2019s.
