That\u2019s when Tullahoma gathers for one of its most beloved traditions: the Annual Wobble Gobble Chamber 5K.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What began six years ago with just 125 runners has grown into a nearly 500-person event, complete with dozens of sponsors, cheering families, and a course that winds down Jackson and Atlantic Streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For race director and 2025 Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce President James Fuller, the growth still catches him off guard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTo maintain and even grow a 5K event each year speaks volumes to the committee, sponsors, and participants that make it what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/01\/Story-1-photo1-6-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-24710\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/01\/Story-1-photo1-6-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/01\/Story-1-photo1-6-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/01\/Story-1-photo1-6-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photography credited to We Run Race Photos<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Wobble Gobble has never been solely about speed or finish times. On race morning, you\u2019ll see competitive runners lining up beside parents with strollers, coworkers laughing together, and first-timers nervously adjusting their race bibs. Fuller believes that\u2019s exactly the point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWobble Gobble can be what it needs to be for each participant,\u201d he said. \u201cIt doesn\u2019t matter the participants\u2019 fitness level; we have people of all levels of fitness.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those moments are what keep him coming back. Like the woman who ran her first-ever 5K just shy of her 40th birthday. Or the student who finished the race and decided to try out for the school\u2019s cross-country team.
