Fuller has been a customer at Traders Bank since she was a young girl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cEveryone was always so warm and welcoming. When the president and CEO asked me to come to work for them in 2002, it just seemed like a perfect fit,\u201d she said. \u201cBanking has changed a lot since that day, but one thing has never changed \u2014 we still greet our customers with a smile, call them by name, and try to give them the best customer service possible.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Before working at Traders Bank, Fuller was the banquet manager at American Legion Post 43 for 25 years. When she made the switch to Traders, she took on the role of administrative assistant to the president, as well as payroll and insurance administrator, until they merged with Citizens Bank of Lafayette in 2015.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn 2015, I began to get more involved in the community as I had more time to spend outside the bank,\u201d Fuller said. \u201cI became an ambassador for the Tullahoma Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC) and am still a member of the ambassador program. I have served on the TACC board on almost every committee, promoting the chamber and our community, and served as president of the chamber in 2024.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Fuller\u2019s work with the chamber of commerce has been extensive. She has received numerous awards, including the President\u2019s Award (2017), Ambassador of the Year (2018), CEO Business Partner of the Year (2018), Citizen of the Year (2022), and, most recently, the Lifetime Achievement Award (2026).<\/p>\n\n\n\n A lifelong resident of Tullahoma, Fuller attended South Jackson Elementary School, West Middle School, and Tullahoma High School. She married her husband, Jimmy Fuller, in 1977, and they enjoy spending time with her stepdaughter, Jennifer Fuller English; son-in-law, Greg English; and their three grandchildren \u2014 Abigail (24), Isabella (20), and Brody (14). She also attends First Christian Church in Tullahoma. As a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, she currently serves as the vice president.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fuller\u2019s passion for promoting Tullahoma businesses and for helping the community complements Wellworth Bank\u2019s commitment to civic engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cOur bank has been a CEO partner with Robert E. Lee School since 2007,\u201d Fuller said. \u201cDuring that time, we provided ice cream for Class of the Week, held Bank Day once a month, and provided snacks for field day. We judged pumpkin contests, served at Thanksgiving lunch, held coloring contests, and helped with other events during the school year as needed.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fuller said Wellworth Bank also works with all the other schools throughout the year through various fundraisers and sponsorships. Employees support the 5 Loaves 4 Kids program by helping pack and deliver to schools as needed. The bank has provided pudding for the meal program since the program\u2019s start.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All banks have gone through changes. Paper ledgers have turned into pixels in a world of electronic networks. Rather than rushing to the bank before it closes, customers can access their accounts electronically 24\/7 on their smartphones. Fast cash is easily available through ATMs. Paychecks are deposited digitally. The list goes on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Wellworth Bank promises its customers that one thing will never change \u2014 customers and communities will remain “well worth\u201d every ounce of care, effort, and heart the bank can give.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cI have been blessed in many ways since working at Wellworth, including meeting many new people in the community,\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Fuller said. \u201cMy work family is truly like family. I consider myself very blessed to have known every employee who has come and gone. Many have retired, some have passed away, but none of them are forgotten.\u201d Fuller has seen many changes at Wellworth over the years, but she has learned a few truths along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cIf you treat people like you want to be treated, you can never go wrong,\u201d she said. \u201cAt our bank, our employees are like family, and we try to treat our customers the same way.\u201d GN<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Don’t let the name fool you.
