This year\u2019s 101st Coffee Pot game was hosted at Tullahoma High School\u2019s Wilkins Stadium on Friday, Aug. 28, 2026. As always, it was an intense showdown.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Coffee County, under the leadership of Coach Brandon Harmon, controlled the first half as quarterback Kaysen Lowery threw three touchdown passes to build a 21-0 lead. Tullahoma did not go into halftime empty-handed, however. Quarterback Patrick Riddle recovered a bad snap and still found Zion Jeffery in the end zone, cutting the gap to 21-8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/1-6-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25628\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/1-6-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/1-6-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/1-6-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photography by Ashleigh Newnes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coffee County Marching Band took the field first for a rousing halftime show, showcasing their theme this year, Coming Home. THS Marching Band took the field by storm next, featuring the color guard brightly dressed for this year\u2019s theme, Neon Dreams. The band members on both sides attached ribbons to their instruments or uniforms in honor of Colton Thomas, a local middle schooler who tragically lost his life only three days prior to the game, showing that even in football rivalry, community comes first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Heading into the second half, the Tullahoma High School Varsity Cheerleaders and Coffee County High School cheerleaders had fans on their feet. It was time for this Coffee Pot to get stirred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" src=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/3-6-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-25630\" srcset=\"https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/3-6-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/3-6-980x653.jpg 980w, https:\/\/goodnewsmags.com\/tullahoma\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2026\/10\/3-6-480x320.jpg 480w\" sizes=\"(min-width: 0px) and (max-width: 480px) 480px, (min-width: 481px) and (max-width: 980px) 980px, (min-width: 981px) 1024px, 100vw\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Photography by Ashleigh Newnes<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tide turned in the third and fourth quarters as the Wildcats came back ready to fight. They scored on their first two possessions, recovered a fumble, and added another touchdown. Dominick Harris scored the final touchdown, an 18-yard run in the final two minutes of the fourth quarter. Tullahoma gained the victory, winning 34-21.
