The story of Good News Magazine
How it Started to Now
The concept for Good News was born at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In the midst of uncertainty and isolation, we felt our community needed a dedicated space for positivity. We set out to create a single, uplifting print publication—and the response was incredible.
As we grew to serve multiple communities, we realized that the way people connect and discover local businesses was shifting online. To make a lasting impact, we needed to evolve.
Today, Good News has transitioned into a dynamic, digital-first storytelling platform. We have shifted our focus from traditional print ads to Good News Digital, a sophisticated PR and brand awareness solution for local businesses. By combining professional, human-centered storytelling with targeted digital distribution, we ensure that the positive stories of local businesses, organizations, and events reach and resonate with the right audience online. We still celebrate our print roots in select markets, but our mission is firmly digital-first: building stronger communities by keeping local storytelling alive in the feeds people scroll every day.
Our Storytellers
Good News Magazine is a publication of Exchange Media Group. Our writers, photographers, designers, and business development team work every month to uncover the local stories you may not have heard before.
