AS YOU sit in front of your computer, working hard, it’s easy to forget about the impact that your daily routine may have on your spine. With the rise of side hustles and leisure mobile activities, many of us tend to slouch or bend our spines and necks, often without realizing it. These habits can cause various health issues, such as back pain and difficulty breathing. Fortunately, many unique places in our community offer self-care and full-body wellness services to take your health to the next level. One of them is Ultimate Health.
In the realm of health care, there are individuals whose dedication transcends the ordinary and whose commitment to healing encompasses the physical, spiritual, and emotional. Brad Schapiro is one such individual whose journey into chiropractic care and holistic healing is as remarkable as the lives he touches.
Growing up immersed in the world of nutrition with a father who was a fervent advocate of natural remedies, Schapiro’s path to becoming a doctor was paved with a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. His upbringing instilled in him a profound appreciation for the role of nutrition in overall health and well-being.
“My dad was a big Adelle Davis fan — so, she was a really famous naturopathic back in the ‘70s. From the time I was 5 years old, I had all my nutrition, supplements, and a protein shake laid out for me on the counter. Nutrition was always a big part of my life,” he explained.

As Schapiro’s passion for nutrition deepened, so did his involvement in competitive sports — mainly soccer. Guided by personal trainers and coaches, he strengthened his athletic skills and understanding of the body’s intricate mechanics. During these formative years, Schapiro began to recognize the profound impact of physical alignment on overall health. This realization would later shape his career in chiropractic care.
Schapiro’s journey took a definitive turn when he discovered chiropractic care. Inspired by family friends who were chiropractors and drawn to the idea of a profession that embraced natural healing modalities, he saw an opportunity to merge his passion for wellness with his desire to make a meaningful difference.
Schapiro obtained a bachelor’s degree in biology and a doctor of chiropractic degree from Life University. His passion for holistic health led him to establish Ultimate Health in 2012 in Winchester. In 2015, he extended his services to VIAM Manufacturing employees. His approach prioritizes personalization based on individual needs, supported by in-depth post-graduate training in functional neurology, blood chemistry analysis, clinical nutrition, and Neuro Emotional Technique (NET).
What makes Schapiro’s journey especially unique and successful is how it is deeply intertwined with his faith. He did not grow up with a foundation of faith, but once he truly discovered who God was, the trajectory of his life and career would change forever.

“I decided to do a two-week fast about it,” he said. “I wanted to find out who Jesus was. If He was real, I was going to meet Him.”
After his fast, he finally realized who God was to him on a personal level.
“At that point, I knew I finally found what I was looking for.”
For him, chiropractic care is a sacred calling — a means of serving others.
“Jehovah Rapha — He’s the healer, not Dr. Schapiro. I’m just the vessel with the bad jokes that gets a chance to participate in what God’s doing.”
He understands the importance of empowering individuals to take ownership of their health and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

Schapiro’s practice encompasses an approach to wellness that addresses the underlying causes of illness. Through a combination of chiropractic adjustments, Zerona Z6 Fat Loss Laser, Foot Levelers custom orthotics, massage therapy, Christian counseling, private-label nutritional supplements, and prayer, Schapiro seeks to restore balance and vitality to his patients’ lives.
Instead of merely treating symptoms, he focuses on removing obstacles to healing and empowering his patients to take control of their health. The idea of “proactive versus reactive” is a common theme for this practice.
Schapiro envisions a paradigm shift towards a more balanced approach in the near future — one that integrates traditional medicine with holistic modalities. He believes that the future of health care lies in clinically effective and cost-effective options, focusing on prevention rather than just treatment.
Perhaps most importantly, Schapiro reminds us that love is at the heart of health care and that healing is not just about curing ailments but about nurturing the soul.
“If it only becomes clinical or chiropractic techniques or supplements, it will never be worth it. The bottom line is love. Love your father with everything in you, and love your neighbor as yourself.”
He extends his gratitude to his wife, Melissa, and son, Jackson, for their support as he continues to serve the community and honor God. GN
