THE MILL was vibrant and alive with color and creativity a few months ago. Historic Lebanon Main Street sponsored the Lebanon Art Crawl. Thirty-four artists transformed the venue into an art gallery. The free event took place on the evening of Saturday, July 12th, with a diverse crowd of enthusiasts to celebrate art and music.
Robyn Willis, executive director of Historic Lebanon Main Street, was very pleased with the successful event.
She said, “The event had a great turnout where people really took the time to enjoy art, talk with artists, and connect. It truly felt like Lebanon is continuing to lean into its identity as a supportive, creative city.”

A wide range of mediums and canvases meant that there was something for just about every taste. The Black Sheep Cafe & General Store provided snacks. Mark Gallant provided entertainment.
Each piece of art shares a unique story. Lee Marshall’s art tells the story of change, with her functional porcelain pots. A former engineer, she started Silver Ridge Pottery, proving that it’s never too late to realize your artistic dreams. Emmaline Zink is trained in animation and works with a blend of digital, acrylic, and gouache. She hopes to bring her audience’s imaginations to life.

Willis commented, “One of the standout moments of the event was the community collaborative painting set up by Karlie Cunha of Wild Colors Creative Design Studio. It was a major highlight. Watching guests, artists, and families contribute to the same evolving piece of art really embodied the spirit of shared creativity.”
It was an evening filled with art, music, food, and community.

“We absolutely want to continue supporting and uplifting the arts in Lebanon,” added Willis. She suggests following Lebanon Art Crawl and Historic Lebanon on social media to watch for upcoming events. GN
