For a quick lunch, my family and I stopped at Speedy Burrito. The restaurant is a neighborhood favorite. Its worn brick walls and mural add to the charm of the place. The decor was simple, with an authentic feel. There was also a consistent line of patrons. It was a walk-up-and-order restaurant.
We ordered the mulitas, a beef burrito with queso, and chicken fajitas. Of course, queso and chips started the meal. For drinks, we got the mango Jarritos and the mandarin Jarritos.
The mulitas are my son’s favorite and come with two crispy corn tortillas loaded with juicy pork, onions, cheese, pico de gallo, and guacamole. The combo was perfect — crispy on the outside and packed with flavor on the inside. It’s definitely something you want to try if you’re looking for something satisfying and delicious.
The beef burrito with queso was another solid choice. It was huge, stuffed with tender beef, and the queso made it extra creamy.
The chicken fajitas were also really good. The chicken was tender and paired with sauteed peppers and onions for a classic fajita flavor. It came with three tortillas, which I stuffed with the delicious chicken and veggies, then topped with queso. You can never have too much cheese!
Speaking of cheese, we started the meal off with queso and chips. The queso was not too spicy, and the chips were crispy and fresh. It kept us happy while we waited for the rest of the food.
Even though Speedy Burrito was busy, the service was quick, and the food hit the spot. The mulitas were a standout, but honestly, everything we tried was great. It is a family favorite when we are in the mood for a quick lunch for a decent price. GN
