GOOD NEWS IS COMING TO DINNER! We will feature a local food critic’s thoughts as they dine in Lebanon. This month, Krys Midgett visited Bangkok Pad Thai.
I LOVE THAI food. My go-to is usually Panang Curry and a Thai tea; unfortunately, I am on a restricted diet for a few weeks. My friend and I decided to give Bangkok Pad Thai in Lebanon a try for lunch and see if anything would work for the diet.
We were welcomed and immediately seated. The server took our drink orders and made suggestions based on my restrictions. I ordered the Garlic Favorite with shrimp, while my friend chose the Chicken Pad Thai. Both dishes arrived hot and were generously portioned. The shrimp were cooked well, and the vegetables were fresh. The Pad Thai was flavorful.
Before our meals arrived, my friend ordered the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. The spring rolls tasted fresh, and the peanut sauce added a nice touch of flavor that paired well with them.

The staff was friendly throughout our visit, and the service was attentive without being intrusive. It’s easy to see why the restaurant has built a loyal following among local diners who enjoy having international cuisine options close to home.
Bangkok Pad Thai offers a relaxed atmosphere and a menu packed with Thai favorites. Whether you’re a longtime fan of Thai cuisine or just looking to try something different, there are plenty of options to choose from. GN
