THE 7TH Annual May Expo was held on May 2 at the Townsend Cultural Center, bringing together local businesses and community members in Winchester for a day focused on small-business engagement.

The event ran from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and featured more than 30 vendors from across the area. Attendees had the opportunity to browse a range of products and services, including handmade goods, boutique items, and locally offered services. The variety of vendors allowed visitors to explore different types of businesses in one setting.
The come-and-go format gave attendees flexibility to move through the event at their own pace while interacting directly with vendors. These interactions provided business owners with opportunities to share information about their products and services while building relationships with both new and returning customers.

Throughout the day, steady attendance reflected continued community interest in local events that highlight small businesses. Vendors were able to engage with a broad range of visitors, from those discovering new businesses to those returning to support familiar ones.
For participating businesses, the Expo served as a space to increase visibility and connect with the local community. Events like this offer a practical way for small businesses to engage with customers outside of traditional storefronts or online platforms.

Now in its seventh year, the May Expo remains a consistent event in Winchester, highlighting the role of small businesses and providing a centralized opportunity for community members to support local vendors.
