THE FAYETTEVILLE-LINCOLN County Arts Center rolled out the red carpet once again for its fifth annual Goodwill Ball — and this year the event was bigger, bolder, and more high-energy than ever.
Held on Saturday, April 11, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Sacred Stone, the evening combined casino fun, dancing, and community celebration — all in support of the arts.

For $50, guests received event admission, two drink tickets (with additional drinks available for $5), Mexican cuisine and dessert, plus $40 in “play money” that let them try their luck at three casino tables. Couple tickets sold for $90, and a reserved table of eight was listed for $320.
Casino Knights once again provided roulette and blackjack tables, which let guests experience the thrill of gaming in a festive, no-risk atmosphere. If luck ran out, additional “play money” was available for purchase in order to stay in the action. When the cards got down, the dance floor heated up with DJ Collective Heartbeats, who returned to keep the energy high all night.

Beyond the tables and tunes, raffle baskets packed with items from generous local businesses were part of the excitement. Baskets from previous years included handcrafted pottery from Whitscraft Handmade, men’s grooming products from Mercantile on Market, and hand-carved artwork from Two Trees. Raffle tickets were only available at the event.
Local businesses have long rallied around the Goodwill Ball. In past years, sponsors like Sabghi Jewelers have donated raffle and silent auction items, helping the evening grow into one of the Arts Center’s signature fundraisers.

With dancing, gaming, and plenty of surprises, the Goodwill Ball offered more than a night out — it was an investment in the creative heartbeat of Fayetteville-Lincoln County.
